The unique patented internal design of the Random Flow Generator, leverages fluid dynamics to randomly alter the direction of the flow as it exits the nozzle.
Vivid Creative Aquatics revolutionary design uses a set of 5 fins in a spiraling design that channels the water in from one direction at the base of the eductor and then out of the nozzle a different direction. The small amount of interference at the base of the eductor helps create a random change in the intake affecting the path of the flow exiting the nozzle.This internal helix design, pulls the central jet in on of 5 possible direction, but in only one direction at a time. The result is a broad wave-maker like motion but with no moving parts to ware out, no noise and no addition heat generated.The Random Flow Generator® or RFG Nozzle can help to create a more natural, randomized flow pattern within an aquarium, pond, or other bodies of water.
Flow recommendations
The RFG Nozzle will handle far more flow than the “Optimal” GPH recommendations, so we encourage you to experiment and test the limits of the RFG Nozzles.
